Tony Guerro: Navajo
Silversmith (Deceased)
Tony Guerro was one of the greatest silversmiths there
has been. Learning from his father and uncles the old traditional deep
stamp-work style, Tony extended his craftsmanship to include many
creations unique unto himself.
Mr. Guerro passed from this life on December 6, 1993
leaving a legacy of respect, love, and admiration. Honesty and integrity
was obvious when Tony was present. A loving and devoted family man, he
left his children life skills and craft skills enabling them to follow in
his very large footsteps. |

Tom Willeto: Navajo Silversmith
Tom is the grandson of the Navajo chief who led the
TOJALIILLI (Canyoncito, New Mexico) band of the Navajo tribe back from
their captivity at Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. This is where they were
encamped after their defeat by the US Army then led by Kit Carson.
Tom Willeto has stood in his grandfather's moccasins
working to enhance the Canyoncito Chapter of Navajo Nations commitments to
excellence in reservation life. Mr. Willeto is also an Assembly of God
ordained pastor.
Tom Willetos' unparalleled jewelry creations are
featured in our gallery. |

Wilson Padilla: Navajo Silversmith
Wilson Padilla's work features clean lines and intricate
designs sawn into the heavy wires surrounding the gemstones. This type of
work can only be accomplished by the very best of silversmiths.
Mr. Padilla (from the Alamo Chapter of the Navajo
Nation) periodically comes to our gallery in Branson to make some of his
specialties for us. |

Phillip Zachary: Silversmith &
Lapidary
Phillip is probably the most accomplished stonecutter
(lapidary) in the world of cabochons.
While cutting millions of carats of minerals, he
pioneered the art of "contour" cutting (chasing the color no matter what
direction it took). This not only brings out the best in a gemstone, but
also gives it a 3D appearance.
While having dealt in everything from agate to
zirconium, his specialty has been turquoise. Phillip has cut turquoise
from Persia, Chile, Mexico, China, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado
& many other locations. I doubt there is anyone living worldwide who
has more knowledge of this gemstone.
Phillip has also exhibited a unique flair in designing
and creating beautiful silver work in which to present some of his
gemstones.
